Wrightform Ltd Hosts Exclusive Open-Days, Showcasing State-of-the-Art Facility
EYE, SUFFOLK, UK. 29th April, 2024 - Wrightform Ltd, a premier sub-contract engineering company in East Anglia, proudly opened its doors to guests and customers for exclusive open-day events held throughout April. These guided tours provided a behind-the-scenes look into Wrightform's cutting-edge facility, highlighting their unwavering commitment to innovation, precision, and sustainability.

Founded on principles of quality craftsmanship and personalised service, Wrightform Ltd remains a privately owned business devoted to surpassing client expectations. With a diverse clientele spanning the food processing, construction, agriculture and other industries, Wrightform has earned a stellar reputation for its engineering expertise.

The open days presented a unique opportunity for visitors to interact with Wrightform's dedicated team, including workshop and production staff, supervisors, managers, and Directors. Notably, attendees had the privilege of engaging with three generations of Wrightform staff, exemplified by Directors Ken Rose, his son Harvey, Mark Rose and esteemed co-founders Paul Rose and John Wilby. "Each team member plays an integral role in supporting our customers and upholding the tradition of value and ethics that defines Wrightform - and it was a real pleasure to be part of these events," commented Paul Rose.

During the tours, guests received a comprehensive overview of Wrightform's engineering processes, from raw materials to finished products. Led by in-house experts and sales teams, visitors explored the 24,000 sq ft facility, witnessing state-of-the-art machinery and technologies firsthand.

A highlight of the tour was seeing Wrightform's remarkable laser-cutting prowess. Equipped with three laser cutting machines, one being a 15kw fibre laser, the company demonstrated its proficiency in working with various materials, including mild and stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper. Visitors had the opportunity to observe live customer jobs being processed, showcasing the machines' ability to cut intricate shapes and designs with exceptional precision. These demonstrations sparked genuine interest, underscoring their suitability for custom fabrication projects.

At various service stations, guests viewed examples of past projects and ongoing customer jobs undergoing different processes. Each station focused on a specific service, ranging from mobile robots, deburring machines, and CNC lathes to metal flattening, forming, and folding. Throughout the tour and demonstrations, hosts were readily available to answer any questions, ensuring an informative and engaging experience for all attendees.

John Ensinger, General Manager of Wrightform and Wrightfield Ltd, emphasised the significance of these open-day events. "Our open days provide a unique opportunity for visitors to gain insight into our operations and witness the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind our finished products. We take pride in our work, and these events allow us to share our passion with our customers."

In addition to showcasing their manufacturing capabilities, Wrightform highlighted their commitment to sustainability. Installing a nitrogen generation plant capable of providing gas to all three lasers reflects the company's dedication to reducing its environmental footprint. Furthermore, ducting was added to transfer heat from the plant room into the workspace, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

The positive feedback from attendees underscores the success of the open-day events. "Many visitors were surprised by the scale of our facility and the breadth of processes we undertake," remarked Ensinger. "When we hear feedback about how impressed people are or "how our professionalism is admirable," it makes it all worthwhile. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to connect with our customers in this way, and we look forward to welcoming more visitors in the future."

Wrightform has expanded its fleet of fully covered vehicles, enabling efficient delivery services throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. Other carriers will be used for UK-wide deliveries. This strategic enhancement reaffirms Wrightform's commitment to providing comprehensive solutions and exceptional service to clients across the region and the rest of the UK.
