MANCHESTER, UK. September 17th, 2026 — UK technology and IT services provider NetMonkeys has announced the launch of NetVerse by NetMonkeys, a new event series exploring how artificial intelligence, digital transformation and emerging technology are changing the way businesses operate.
The inaugural Manchester event, titled “Business in the Age of AI: Technology, Transformation & What Comes Next,” will take place on 8 October 2026, bringing together business leaders, technology professionals and organisations to discuss the practical opportunities and challenges surrounding AI adoption.
A key part of the event will be the live launch and demonstration of Lumos AI, a new AI platform developed by NetMonkeys’ software team.
Lumos AI is designed to help organisations interact with business data and knowledge using natural language, providing a more accessible way for users to ask questions, analyse information and gain actionable insights without relying solely on traditional reporting and data tools.
The platform has been developed by NetMonkeys’ software team, led by Darren Cawdry, with the team having spent significant time developing and refining the technology ahead of its public launch at NetVerse.
Nick Gall, Managing Director, and Mike Dixon, Founder, will feature at the Manchester event, alongside members of the wider NetMonkeys team. The programme will focus on practical applications of AI and technology, covering topics including AI strategy, digital transformation, automation and the changing role of technology within businesses.
The event will also include live demonstrations, presentations, Q&A sessions and networking, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss how emerging technologies can be applied to real business challenges.
“AI is moving from something businesses are experimenting with to something that is becoming part of everyday operations,” said Nick Gall, Managing Director at NetMonkeys. “NetVerse is about having an honest conversation about what that means for businesses, where the genuine opportunities are and how organisations can start turning AI into something useful.”
He added: “We’re particularly excited to launch Lumos AI at the event. The team has put a huge amount of work into developing the platform, and NetVerse gives us the opportunity to demonstrate what it can actually do in a real business environment.”
The Manchester event is the first in a planned NetVerse series, with events also planned across Nottingham, London and Birmingham.
