The ceremony, which honoured 140 exceptional pupils, featured keynote speaker Jaz Ampaw-Farr, who herself spent her childhood in foster care, and delivered an inspiring address to the audience.

Reflecting on her involvement in the awards ceremony, Jaz Ampaw-Farr stated, "There are lots of reasons children end up in care, and absolutely none of them include the child being broken! Ampaw-Farr has shared the stage with Rachel de Souza, The Children’s Commissioner for England, at The House of Lords, Lemm Sissay, care-experienced poet at Westminister Central Hall and Kriss Akabusi, care-experienced Olympian Kriss Akabusi on several occasions.
