SHREWSBURY, UK, 1 March 2024 – Leading defensive and fleet driver training company Drivers Domain UK has adapted its operations after seeing record numbers of people needing help with driving confidence.
During the pandemic the company was forced to pause its operations for almost 18 months and since the resumption of driver training, Drivers Domain UK has experienced large numbers of people approaching them for help with their confidence.
In response to this trend, Drivers Domain UK has redesigned its online booking system, making it easy for anxious drivers to completely bespoke a driving confidence course to fit with their needs.
In February, Drivers Domain UK reported they had trained their 10,000th client since the lifting of COVID lockdown restrictions.
Rob Morgan, Head of Driver Training at Drivers Domain UK said: “During lockdowns, people were simply not driving, or driving a lot less. Combined with the looming anxiety, many felt it was a perfect storm for anxiety-related issues to manifest.
“Quickly after restrictions eased, we saw a record number of people coming to us needing help with their driving confidence. Our clients ranged from those who simply needed a refresher after a long break to others who said their fear of driving, which was quite substantial before Covid, had become more severe after the stresses and strains of the pandemic had taken their toll.
