LONDON, UK. November 5th, 2025 – Luxury stationery brand Takafa has officially launched its exclusively handcrafted notebook collection to the UK market.
Takafa, derived from the Arabic word for ‘culture’, draws inspiration from the history and spirit of Al-Andalus — the vibrant crossroads of art, knowledge, and refinement in the Iberian Peninsula. Rooted in the Mediterranean spirit, Takafa celebrates a region where cultures and civilisations have met for centuries, exchanging art, craftsmanship, and beauty.

Each Takafa notebook is produced in Italy by skilled artisans using premium materials. The “Originals” collection features full‑grain Bos Taurus leather complemented by ivory‑toned Italian paper.
Each notebook comes presented in Takafa’s signature drawer box, accompanied by a linen dust bag and an authenticity card, transforming every piece into an exceptional gift and a refined unboxing experience in itself.
Takafa’s second collection, Al-Andalus Garden, is crafted from nubuck leather and adorned with decorative fruit motifs, offering the same level of refinement in a more vibrant and colourful expression. The collection echoes the Mediterranean’s blossoms, colours and fragrances — an ode to timeless elegance and sensory harmony.
Both notebooks feature a curved top edge which reflects the traditional curved windows of Al-Andalus.
Following its European launch, the brand is now seizing on the opportunity to deliver something different to UK customers in the luxury goods sector.
Abderrahim Baka, Co-founder of Takafa said: “We believe that in an era dominated by technology, there remains a unique value in the traditional art of note-taking. Writing by hand gives meaning and depth to our thoughts. We want our products to complement the digital tools we use daily, and we believe that the exceptional quality of our notebooks does exactly that.”
The UK launch is live immediately via the official UK website takafa.co.uk. Initial retail pricing begins at £65 for the Original collection and £70 for the Al Andalus Garden collection. UK standard delivery is included and express shipping is available.
Abderrahim Baka added: “Bringing Takafa to the UK is about offering not just a product, but an experience. We aim to give British consumers access to a very high level of craftsmanship that is rare to find in this field, and is designed to last.”
