New Loop and Halo ranges support donations, tips, and ‘pay-what-you-can’ giving in every country worldwide
Dusseldorf, September 9th, 2025 — Superspree, a global innovator in socially driven financial technology, today announced the worldwide launch of its first dedicated range of contactless payment terminals built expressly for the “kindness economy.”
The new portfolio includes two families of devices: the Loop range, designed for attended use, and the Halo range, created for unattended environments. Together, they enable seamless contactless payments for donations, tips, and “pay-what-you-can” contributions — transactions that increasingly shape the way people and organizations engage in acts of kindness.
Available in every country in the world, the contactless terminals represent the first coordinated effort to create payment technology attuned to the social and cultural dynamics of kindness, initially focussing on charitable giving.
Superspree’s launch follows the company’s Global Development Programme, introduced in January 2025. The initiative brought together a carefully selected group of non-profit organizations working across sport, education, art, heritage, health, faith, animal welfare, and conservation. Operating in diverse regions and contexts, these organizations have deployed the Loop and Halo contactless devices in their everyday activities. The result is a growing, data-rich knowledge base on how digital payments can drive effective fundraising in the real world.
Superspree now seeks to expand this work by partnering with a multi-national NGO to test the contactless terminals in a multi-country environment, by providing them with the technology and expertise to engage supporters wherever they operate.
“Payment technology has long been built for commerce. We’ve built ours for kindness,” said Laura Bond, Chief Executive of Superspree. “With the Loop and Halo contactless ranges, we’re offering the tools for communities, charities, and individuals to give — and to give easily — wherever they are in the world.”
The contactless devices are already being adopted by organisations eager to adapt to the changing expectations of donors and contributors, many of whom prefer fast, tap-and-go interactions over cash. By focusing on inclusivity and universality, Superspree aims to ensure that the act of giving remains as natural, immediate, and borderless as the needs it seeks to address.
