The award went to A.I. Apocalypse, one of Cardiff’s newest escape rooms, which has already achieved international recognition in less than a year since opening. Despite being a young addition to the Cardiff escape room scene, it has stood out globally for its innovative gameplay and immersive design.
“This recognition means so much to us,” said Kevin Steerment, co-founder of Puzzled Escape Rooms. “We set out to create something unique that goes far beyond traditional lock-and-key puzzles. To see our Cardiff escape room recognised on a worldwide stage so quickly is incredible.”
Puzzled Escape Rooms has also been recognised with Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award for two years running, reflecting consistently high player reviews and customer satisfaction.
The venue currently offers two experiences:
- Abandon Ship – an immersive ship-themed escape room packed with cinematic detail and clever puzzles.
- A.I. Apocalypse – Cardiff’s only sit-down escape room, a high-tech challenge where players must outwit a rogue artificial intelligence.
