LONDON, UK. March 16th, 2026 – A new office-to-residential conversion in West London is set to deliver 53 apartments in Uxbridge town centre, reflecting continued redevelopment activity across the capital’s suburban office markets.
The scheme, known as Distrikt London West, will transform a former office building into a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes aimed at buyers seeking well-connected housing locations within the capital’s outer boroughs.
Located close to Uxbridge Underground Station, the development sits on both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, providing direct connections into Central London including Baker Street, King’s Cross St Pancras and Oxford Circus. Heathrow Airport can be reached in around 20 minutes, while the A40, M25 and M4 provide road access across London and the wider South East.
Uxbridge forms part of the wider West London and Heathrow economic corridor, one of the capital’s largest employment hubs. The surrounding area supports more than 100,000 jobs, including a significant proportion linked directly or indirectly to Heathrow Airport, alongside thousands of businesses operating across neighbouring boroughs.
The apartments will feature contemporary interiors and energy-efficient specifications, with some units offering the option to purchase parking.
The development is being delivered by Richbridge Property Group, a UK residential developer that focuses on office-to-residential conversions and commuter-led housing schemes across London and the South East.
Distrikt London West is being brought to market by international property consultancy LH1 Global.
Rayna Hunter, CEO of LH1 Global, said the scheme reflects continued demand for well-located housing in established outer London town centres.
Rayna said: “Uxbridge offers strong connectivity into Central London alongside access to Heathrow and a large employment base. Developments such as this demonstrate the continued demand for high-quality homes in well-connected commuter locations.”
The project forms part of a wider trend of office-to-residential redevelopment across London, where under-utilised commercial buildings are being repurposed to help meet housing demand.
Apartments at Distrikt London West are reported to start from £270,000, with the development offering 999-year leases and zero ground rent.
