DERBYSHIRE, UK. February 12th, 2026Mobility in Motion has announced a new charity partnership with Dwarf Sports Association UK (DSA UK), as part of its ongoing commitment to improving accessibility, inclusion, and independence for disabled people across the UK.
The partnership builds on the success of Mobility in Motion’s 2025 charity collaborations with Amputation Foundation, Aspire, Remap, and WheelPower, which helped shape a more ambitious and collaborative approach to the company’s charity programme.
Reflecting on what the business learned from its 2025 partnerships, Bruce Lauder, Head of Sales and Marketing at Mobility in Motion, said: “Working with our charity partners in 2025 taught us a huge amount about collaboration, listening, and creating impact together. Partnering with DSA UK is a natural next step as we continue to grow our charity programme for 2026. This partnership isn’t symbolic, it’s about learning from lived experience and turning that insight into action.”
The partnership officially launched earlier this year and marks the next phase of Mobility in Motion’s long-term approach to working alongside charities and community organisations.
A strategic approach to partnership
Throughout 2025, Mobility in Motion worked closely with its charity partners to better understand the lived experiences of disabled people and the role car adaptations can play in everyday life. These learnings have directly informed the company’s plans for 2026, which focus on deeper collaboration, shared storytelling, and meaningful advocacy.
The need for this work remains clear. According to Sport England, Disabled people are almost twice as likely to be physically inactive as non-disabled people, highlighting the ongoing barriers many face when it comes to independence, participation, and everyday mobility.
As part of the partnership with DSA UK, Mobility in Motion’s 2026 activity will include:
  • Spotlight videos highlighting lived experience
  • Co-branded infographics and educational resources
  • Joint advocacy moments around key awareness days
  • Mini masterclasses and “Ask Me Anything” sessions
  • Product development sessions and behind-the-scenes tours
  • Lunch and Learn sessions
  • Charity-specific promotions
  • Support for charity events
Championing inclusive sport and opportunity
Dwarf Sports Association UK supports people with dwarfism to access sport and physical activity, helping remove barriers to participation and championing inclusive opportunities both on and off the field.
Despite progress in recent years, disabled people continue to face lower participation rates in sport and physical activity, contributing to wider inequalities in health, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Tim Shephard, Association Manager at Dwarf Sports Association UK, said: “Access and opportunity are central to everything we do at DSA UK. This partnership with Mobility in Motion will help shine a light on what’s possible when people have access to practical car adaptations that support independent travel, including getting to sport, work, and everyday activities.”
Mobility in Motion will share updates from the partnership throughout 2026, including campaign launches, events, and collaborative content, alongside announcements of additional charity partnerships as the programme continues to grow.
