Southall, UK. December 8th 2025 – One of India’s most established vegetarian food brands, Bikanervala, has confirmed the successful opening of its Southall location, marking the company’s second UK site.
The branch, located on King Street, Southall, began serving customers in late November and is now fully operational.
The Southall site has been developed to support Bikanervala’s established vegetarian recipes while incorporating modern kitchen systems intended to improve operational consistency, food safety, and traceability.

Bikanervala, founded in 1905, operates a fully vegetarian food model across all locations. The Southall kitchen follows the same preparation principles, with no eggs, meat, or fish handled or stored on-site.
Ingredients are sourced through suppliers, with certain speciality products imported to maintain consistency with the brand’s existing operations.
The kitchen layout and equipment have been designed to support controlled preparation methods, including monitored cooking temperatures, documented food handling processes, and allergen management.
According to the company, all operational staff completed training prior to launch. Digital systems have also been introduced to support ingredient traceability, order coordination, and compliance reporting.
