LONDON, UK. October 20th, 2025Kimon Services has been named the winner of the Catalyst for Change Award in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion by the Outsourcing Impact Review (OIR) 2025 for its CSR initiative, “Providing Opportunities for Women in India.”
The award recognises Kimon’s sustained effort to create high-quality roles for women across its India operations through structured training, fair-pay pathways, leadership mentoring and supportive employment policies. The initiative is designed to enable women who are returning to work, entering employment for the first time or balancing caring responsibilities to build stable careers without the barriers of commuting or relocation.
Michael Kitt, CEO at Kimon Services, said: “This award belongs to our team in India and also to the customers who believed in what we are building. Diversity and equity are not side projects for us; they are embedded in how we hire, train, promote and support our people. We’re proud that OIR has recognised the practical impact of this approach, and we will continue to widen access to skilled careers for women.”
A spokesperson from Kimon’s India leadership team added: “The remote-first model, coupled with paid training and clear progression routes, has opened doors for talented women who were previously constrained by safety concerns, long travel times or family commitments. Our focus now is to scale responsibly while maintaining quality, fair pay and strong support.”
“Providing Opportunities for Women in India” is a remote-first programme creating secure, fully home-based roles for women across India, removing commute and safety barriers while supporting family responsibilities. It provides paid training, clear progression routes, mentoring, and policies designed around local contexts. The programme is embedded in core operations, financially self-sustaining, and lower-carbon through reduced commuting and office use.

As of August 2025, 438 women had been placed in roles, with 95% on 12-month retention. On average, households benefited from a ₹32,500 average monthly income uplift. 92% of participants reported a better work–life balance, 48% were upskilled or promoted and there was a 14% rise in the empowerment index.
The Outsourcing Impact Review (OIR) is an annual programme led by Outsource Accelerator, created to document and celebrate outsourcing’s positive social impact worldwide. Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel and profiled in a public report that launches alongside the award announcements. Categories span key impact themes including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Community Building, Education, and Health & Wellness, spotlighting initiatives that show clear outcomes, sustainability and the ability to scale. The Outsourcing Impact Review introduced the “Catalyst for Change Award” in 2025 to highlight organisations creating positive ripple effects in their communities and supply chains.
