CAMBRIDGESHIRE, UK. February 23rd, 2026 – In Balance Family Chiropractic, under the leadership of Andrew Coombs, is set to become the first clinic in England to offer a state-of-the-art non-surgical spinal decompression unit.
This milestone follows the clinic’s decision to reinvest 100% of its 2025 profits into a major upgrade of its strength and conditioning facilities, marking a significant advance for patient care in Cambridgeshire and beyond.
Founded by Andrew Coombs, who moved to England at age 10 and trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2013, the clinic has, over eight years, developed into one of the UK’s most advanced chiropractic practices.
After five years in practice, Andrew returned to Cambridgeshire to establish In Balance Family Chiropractic, which now offers comprehensive services including blood testing, vitamin supplementation, ozone therapy, and shockwave treatment.
The latest investment will see the introduction of a non-surgical spinal decompression unit which is being shipped from South Korea and will be the first clinic in England to utilise 3D and AI assisted technology. This service is expected to be launched in late May.
“We are really proud that we will soon be offering something that you can’t get anywhere else in England. We are investing in the business for the benefit of the clients,” said Andrew Coombs.
“This is a wellness facility, a complete holistic business. We are investing heavily in affordable, approachable, professional healthcare. In addition to the new decompression unit, In Balance is one of the few UK clinics to offer Cranial Facial Release (CFR), a non-surgical, balloon-assisted cranial adjustment technique used to address chronic sinus issues, headaches, migraines, vertigo, Bell’s palsy, TMJ disorders, and snoring. “I am one of six people in the UK who is qualified to perform CFR; indeed, the only other one outside of London and Wales is my twin brother David, who operates down the road,” Andrew added.
The clinic’s growth is reflected in its record 20% turnover increase heading into 2026. Plans are in place to further upscale the business, including hiring additional staff and another chiropractor to meet growing demand. “I want to buy our own premises and then foresee additional satellite practices, which will be smaller but then if needed have access to our main facility and that could take us anywhere – the South of England, and beyond. We already have clients travelling to us from as far as Essex, Suffolk and beyond,” Andrew said.
