London, UK. 15th April 2026 – Gallan Tennis Academy today announced a multi-year partnership with Tecnifibre, who join the academy as its Official Racket & Ball Partner.

The partnership represents an important milestone for the fast-growing London based performance academy and strengthens its mission to build a structured development pathway for ambitious junior players aspiring to compete at county, national and international level.

Under the agreement, GTA coaches will train exclusively with Tecnifibre equipment during academy activities, Tecnifibre balls will be used across all training sessions and camps, and the Tecnifibre logo will feature on the official GTA academy kit worn by both coaches and players.

For Evan Michaels, co-founder of Gallan Tennis Academy, the partnership reflects a broader vision for building a serious performance environment around young players.

“If we want to develop serious competitors, we have to create serious environments. That means higher standards, better structure and partnerships with brands that believe in performance. That’s what we’re building at GTA.”

Michaels emphasised that the collaboration goes beyond equipment.

“We didn’t want a logo on a shirt. We wanted a partner aligned with the standards we are building inside the academy. Tecnifibre’s commitment to performance makes them a natural fit for what we are trying to achieve.”

Gallan Tennis Academy was founded to create a modern, structured performance programme inspired by leading European training environments. Through Open Performance Days, competitive camps and regular matchplay opportunities, the academy brings together ambitious young players in demanding training settings.

Co-founder and Head Coach Christian Gallan believes the partnership strengthens the academy’s ability to deliver a consistent high-performance environment.

“Consistency is essential in player development. When young athletes train in a professional environment, from coaching standards to equipment and competition, it raises expectations and accelerates progress. Tecnifibre’s focus on performance helps us create that kind of environment for our players.”

As players progress through the academy pathway, Tecnifibre will have the opportunity to support emerging talent through structured sponsorship opportunities.

For Tecnifibre, the partnership reflects a commitment to supporting grassroots performance environments where the next generation of players develop.

Ian Bicknell, Tennis Development Manager at Tecnifibre, said:

“Gallan Tennis Academy is creating an exciting performance culture around junior development. Their focus on structure, competition and long-term progression aligns closely with Tecnifibre’s philosophy. We’re delighted to support the programme and look forward to working closely with the coaches and players as the academy continues to grow.”

For Gallan Tennis Academy, the partnership represents another step toward building a modern performance system capable of supporting ambitious players over the long term.

“We believe the next British Wimbledon champion is already out there, training right now and dreaming big. Our job is to build the system around them. That’s what GTA is here to do,” Michaels added.
