Partnering with Future of Football FC, CMD backs four action-packed football days for local children aged 6 to 15 with lunch included.
BATH, UK. August 11th 2025 – Recruitment consultancy, CMD Recruitment has announced its support for Free Football Fridays, a series of complimentary full-day football camps for children in Bath, taking place every Friday in August.
The initiative, organised by Future of Football FC, aims to encourage physical activity, social interaction, and community spirit among young people during the summer holidays.
The sessions, scheduled for August 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, are open to boys and girls aged 6 to 15, regardless of ability.
Dan Barfoot, Operations Manager at CMD Recruitment, said: “We’re excited to be supporting Free Football Fridays as part of our commitment to giving back to the local community. This initiative is a brilliant way to keep children active, engaged, and social over the summer — and it reflects the kind of values we promote at CMD every day.”
Each child will receive professional football coaching, participate in structured games, and enjoy a free packed lunch.
The programme is designed to provide a safe, inclusive environment for children to be active and make new friends.
A total of 400 spaces are available, with each child able to register for one date. Registration is open online and via QR code, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The initiative is a collaborative effort, with support from Elevate Cloud alongside CMD Recruitment. Both organisations are working with Future of Football FC to ensure the events reach as many families as possible in Bath and surrounding areas.
Future of Football FC, founded in 2020, is a community-driven football organisation dedicated to providing accessible sporting opportunities.
Its programmes focus on building skills, promoting diversity, and encouraging participation from children of all backgrounds.
CMD Recruitment, an independent recruitment consultancy with offices in Bath and across Wiltshire, has a long-standing history of engaging in community projects.
The company supports employers and jobseekers across a variety of sectors and sees local engagement as a key part of its mission.
