HARWICH, UK. December 12th, 2025 – Caron Sanders-Crook, an army veteran with over 30 years of experience in health and social care, has announced the launch of Moral Injury UK, a pioneering company dedicated to supporting individuals suffering from Moral Injury.
Moral Injury is a condition often misdiagnosed as burnout or stress, but which cuts deeper by violating a person’s core moral code and values. Moral Injury UK Aims to identify, measure, and repair Moral Injury, placing values, voice, and wellbeing at the forefront of its mission.
The organisation will serve as the first point of contact for those affected, while also working to educate companies and industries on recognizing and preventing Moral Injury in the workplace.
“This is a serious health condition. I want it talked about in the same breath as anything else – if someone suffers from back pain, you know what it is and to get treatment. I want the same recognition for Moral Injury,” said Caron Sanders-Crook.
“It can happen in any sector, to anyone. Our goal is to raise awareness, clarify the definition, and start meaningful conversations. We want to work with people and organisations to help make real changes.”
Inspired by her own experience of Moral Injury during various life experiences and redundancy processes, Sanders-Crook has developed a suite of diagnostic tools to measure the problem and create actionable plans for recovery.
