- UK-based trading group acquires Divento Financials Ltd
- Cash and share deal to deliver mutual benefits to both businesses
- Acquired business to sit within Alpha Prime proprietary trading company
The acquisition marks further expansion within Alpha Capital Group which operates a number of subsidiaries including Alpha Prime Markets, Alpha Capital and Alpha Futures. The new business will sit within the Group’s proprietary trading company Alpha Prime Markets, which is located in London.
The cash and share deal will see Divento Financials CEO and professional trader James Sullivan – who founded the business in 2008 – remain as CEO of the education business going forward.
Divento Financials Ltd is the market leader in professional trader training, and qualification design, and for many years has pioneered, and created, globally recognised financial trading qualifications, supported by participating institutions within the industry. Previous clients include the Department for Work & Pensions, the City of London Corporation and various UK universities.
All qualifications have been designed to address skills gaps within the financial services industry and are fully accredited by a Professional Awarding Body, as well as being endorsed by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
Alpha Prime Markets is a traditional prop trading company operating from a live London trading floor with traders globally, that provides clients who have demonstrated success on the company’s existing platforms with access to live trading accounts and professional support.
The deal between Alpha Prime Markets and Divento Financials will allow Alpha traders to further grow their own trading and financial skills through accredited courses, and benefit from economies of scale to help make it more affordable.
