Jongleurs do deal with Momo Leisure to open 6 Comedy Clubs across the UK starting with Nottingham venue

Jongleurs announces its return to Nottingham
Famed for its high octane comedy and the birthplace for many of the acts that we now accept as household names, Jongleurs is to return to Nottingham in a new, purpose built, comedy venue in the City Centre. The new venue, most recently known as the Funktion Room, is housed in a Grade 2 Listed building on Thurland Street in the city centre.
Local businessman and head of training at Poppleston Allen Solicitors, David Elphick and former Regent Inns Operations Director, Jez King, have teamed up to launch the Nottingham site under the Jongleurs brand.
Jez and David have formed a new company, Momo Leisure Ltd and the pair plan to open six Comedy Clubs across the UK with Nottingham being the first. Momo will also work with Jongleurs on a number of other projects to take the Jongleurs Brand to a whole new level and re-enforce its position as the leading comedy entertainment brand in the UK.
David commented: In addition to Nottingham, we are exploring opportunities in Cambridge, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool and Newcastle, with more to follow. He added: With my experience gained in the industry Im confident we will become the venue in Nottingham and across the UK by which others will measure their standards.
