A recent online survey by Swinton car insurance has suggested that young drivers feel unprepared for driving at the wheel alone despite passing their driving tests.This latest research from Swinton car insurance reveals that young drivers who pass their driving tests are experiencing as little as 30 hours of professional driving lessons prior to their examinations. Interestingly, the Driving Standards Agency continues to recommend that young drivers receive up to 45 hours of professional teaching at the wheel, including an additional 22 hours of private practice. Meanwhile a following 31% had only driven 8 hours or less with their parents prior to their examination.
