Stiltz Lifts’ new polycarbonate lift to be on display at Ideal Home Show at Christmas
Home lift specialist Stiltz Lifts will be exhibiting their new polycarbonate lift at the Christmas Ideal Home Show at London’s Earls Court this week.
The Berkshire-based company will join more than 600 other exhibitors at the annual shopping event which offers visitors everything they need to get their home ready for the festive season.
Stiltz Lifts recently completed the first installation of the lift at a domestic property in France. Made of polycarbonate, the ‘crystal clear’ lift has been designed to look as neutral and as aesthetically pleasing as possible and takes up little space compared to a more conventional lift. A unique feature of the lift is that it includes a free standing rail structure so it can be situated in any stairwell void. It is also a cost-effective and hassle-free alternative to a stairlift for the elderly and people with physical disabilities.
Stiltz Lifts featured the Stiltz Duo Lift at the Ideal Home Show back in April as part of the 2012 Home of the Future that included a member of the Stiltz team giving The Gadget Show’s Suzi Perry a demonstration on how to ride the lift.
Stiltz’s Director of Business Development, Lachlan Faulkner, said: “We’re delighted to be a part of the Ideal Home Show again as it is a must-see event. We have a fantastic new lift to show visitors and are expecting lots of interest.”

ABOUT STILTZ LIFTS
Stiltz is the sole supplier, manufacturer and installer of the Stiltz home lift. Based in Wokingham, Berkshire, the company was founded in the United Kingdom and has offices in China. Stiltz gained its experience designing domestic lifts and elevators in Australia for more than two decades. The lifts are through-floor and fit in the home – the first of their kind to be available in the UK. The company developed the lift to make life easier for elderly or disabled people and help them to stay in their own homes for longer when stairs become too much. Unlike stairlifts, the Stiltz lift carries two people comfortably and is a hassle-free and cost-effective alternative to a stairlift. Stiltz’s lifts do not need fixing to walls and can be fitted anywhere in the home with no major building work. It has the smallest footprint for a residential lift on the market and is very quiet because it does not use hydraulics. CONTACT STILTZ LIFTS
