Colemans Named London & South East Conveyancing Firm of the Year
The awards, which were held at Ricoh Arena, Coventry, promote conveyancing solicitors with a strong focus on the consumer and customer service, and how these firms interact with the estate agency community to judge its performance in the market.
The judging panel included some of the leading players in the industry including June Mulroy – Interim Chief Executive of Council for Licensed Conveyances, Paul Sunderland – Manger of Conveyancing Panel at Lloyds Banking Group and Mark Hayward – Chief Executive of the National Association of Estate Agents.
The award, which recognises firms who have delivered an outstanding service for conveyancing, involved a rigorous judging process including mystery shopping exercises, referees and interviews to measure the quality of information and advice. Finally the firm was judged on the references given by the estate agents put forward, before an interview with the conveyancing solicitors themselves.
The LFS awards panel ranked Colemans-ctts highest on the mystery shopping exercises and compliance survey for the London and South East region, proving the firm excelled through the vigorous judging process, stating “[Colemans] represented the most efficient work to staff ratio and had the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Standard”.
Colemans-ctts, who are a leading national practice and recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers Guide have always built on a foundation of organic growth, personal approach and enthusiasm, which they hope is reflected in every case.
The property team, including Partner and Head of Property Nigel Tarrant received the award at the event. Mr Tarrant revealed his delight after winning gold stating:
“We are honoured to be presented the Regional Conveyancing Firm award for the London and South East Region. I am incredibly proud of my team, it certainly is a tribute to the staff who have worked extremely hard this year to provide a first class service to both clients and referrers.
“The selection progress proved to be rigorous, looking at all areas of our conveyancing business. However to be able to bring this award back to the department, as recognition for their continuous efforts, has been a real highlight. We will continue to review our service and ensure we continue to be successful over the coming year.”
