Mike Dignam to Support Lawson in 2013 Chapman Square Tour

Mike Dignam has been announced as the support act for Lawson’s hugely anticipated UK tour this spring.

The 22-year-old singer songwriter, who has supported chart-topping Gabrielle Aplin and Lewis Watson in recent months, will be on the road with the Lawson boys from February 22nd in Manchester to the finale in Dublin on March 23rd.

The Chapman Square Tour, named after Lawson’s 2012 album release which peaked at number three in the UK chart, will also see Ryan, Andy, Adam and Joel – plus Mike – visit another 15 venues across Britain from Bournemouth to Belfast.

The Lawson support announcement caps a highly eventful few months for Mike following a solo tour in December 2012 and the launch of his new EP ‘Paint’ which has already received great acclaim – not least from BBC Introducing who invited Mike onto local BBC Radio for two live sessions.

“I had a great end to 2012 with the successful launch of Paint and to tour with Lawson next month is just the best way to kick off 2013,” said Mike.

“Many dates are already sold out so it will be a fantastic experience – I can’t wait!”
