StableNet Enterprise 4.8 and StableNet Telco 4.8 released

Infosim, provider of advanced OSS solutions, today announced the immediate availability of StableNet Enterprise 4.8 and StableNet Telco 4.8, an integrated suite of network management applications designed to improve network reliability, maximize asset utilization, reduce outage durations and increase end-user satisfaction.

StableNet Enterprise 4.8 and StableNet Telco 4.8 leverage Infosim’s next-generation OSS framework to deliver key enhancements including an improved web interface and an industry leading business impact analysis system. Overall, the new release includes more than 50 new features and improvements in the areas of fault management, performance management, visualization, reporting and MPLS/VPLS management. Some of the highlights of the new releases are:
* A highly customizable business impact analysis system was added to StableNet’s fault management subsystem. Built upon an industry leading pivot technology, the new engine allows operators to correlate and enrich events with business critical information in real-time. The operator can use is technology to reduce downtime and improve end-user experience.
* A completely new web interface, based on Web 2.0 Ajax technology, which is ideal for customer-facing reporting has been added. The new web interfaces is built from the ground with security in mind and streamlines the process of delivering reports to end-users significantly.
* A new network visualization engine called Network Inspector is designed to visualize network status and network performance in real-time. The Network Inspector visualizes network performance information in real-time in an at-a-glance topological display.
* The reporting system includes a new multi-dimensional filtering engine which allows administrators to easily define complex reports on-the-fly without having to sort or group measurements.
