UK’s only Vintage Poster Market returns to London
LONDON, UK, 27 March 2024 – The UK's one and only vintage poster market returns to London on 13-14 April at the Gipsy Hill Taproom.

Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a world of vintage charm and graphic art at Projekt Mkt Vintage Poster Market. The biannual vintage art fair, which is the only event of its kind in the UK, invites art enthusiasts and design fans to shop original vintage posters, ephemera, and limited edition prints starting from just £10.

The market is organised by Projekt 26, a London-based independent vintage poster store founded by Harriet Williams and Sylwia Newman which specialises in the mid century art movement known as the ‘Polish School of Posters’.

Harriet said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Projekt Mkt Vintage Poster Market back to London.

“Projekt Mkt celebrates the rich history and enduring appeal of vintage graphic art, and each pop-up stall is meticulously curated and run by friendly and knowledgeable dealers.

“Whether you're a seasoned collector or a first-time buyer, Projekt Mkt offers an unparalleled selection of vintage treasures that promise to transform any room in an instant.”

The event aims to capture the nostalgia and memories of times gone by, offering a rare chance to shop thousands of original vintage posters under one roof.

Harriet added: “A vintage poster is more than just a piece of art; it's an enduring treasure which links us to a moment and place in times gone by. Street posters were designed to speak directly to passers by, so offer an instant connection, but there are a multitude of elements to relate to beyond their striking graphics.

“Whether it's discovering a poster featuring your favourite film, actor, band, or place, or realising that it's created by a world-class artist, vintage posters hold the power to resonate on a personal level and stir emotions. Each poster tells a story, and finding one that holds special meaning to you can be an incredibly rewarding experience.”

Tickets for Projekt Mkt are free but must be pre-booked in advance. Visitors can book via designmynight for 10% off the core range in the Gipsy Hill Taproom on the day.
