18 March, 2019 — After impressing judges and a panel of renowned experts, young Chef Subin Joseph wins HTA Chef of the Year Competition.
The annual event that has established itself on South Africa’s Culinary Calendar aims to identify, nurture and celebrate tomorrow’s most successful Chefs.
Born in India, Subin Joseph started his culinary journey in 2014 at Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort & Spa, joining the team as Operational Intern and shortly after was appointed as Commis II in August 2015 before being promoted to Commis I in 2017.
Continuing on his way to becoming a great chef, under the support of his team in the Hilton Ras al Khaimah Resort & Spa, Subin was enrolled for a three year Chef Apprenticeship program and brilliantly completed by winning the HTA Chef of the Year Competition.
