“Whoops there it goes again” comes to Clevedon
Bristol based Social Entrepreneur and Inspirational speaker, Jo Richings is bringing her captivating, funny and deeply moving talk to Clevedon YMCA on Tuesday 21st March at 7pm to raise funds for HappiMe.
Her talk, entitled “Whoops there it goes again, how to stay positive when the bottom keeps dropping out of your world” is the funny and inspirational tale of Jo’s story. Bullying, spine operations, obesity, low self-esteem, domestic violence, breast cancer, losing her mum and finding out her husband was having an affair are just a few of the things that have happened to Jo (3 of which happened in one year!) Told in a humorous, engaging and matter of fact way, Jo’s story is packed with simple strategies, tips and tools that you can use to stay positive when life throws you a curveball.
“I have listened to many inspirational speakers but Jo Richings positive, infectious and straight forward approach beats all of them. I have never been so moved, inspired and determined to overcome and change. Jo’s story is emotional but she explains how she turned her life around. It’s extraordinary. She explains clearly the steps she took to conquer some traumatic experiences and why she now teaches these techniques to help others overcome. I learnt so much. I now have a ‘toolbox’ of strategies, tips and techniques to raise my game and take on and succeed at anything I put my mind too. Everyone should listen to this wonderful lady. Michelle”
