The Forces Festival is also the grand finale to THE FORCES MARCH, a 131mile challenge beginning on Thursday 27th May in Ilfracombe, North Devon and finishing in the festivals main arena on Monday 31st May..
All profits from THE FORCES FESTIVAL will go to helping to provide the vital care and support of wounded veterans and forces families.
Danny Greeno, Chief Executive of Project 65 said The Forces March has quickly become the benchmark multi-marathon event in the UK and we were very keen to have a fitting end to the march so we decided to be really ambitious and create THE FORCES FESTIVAL. For a small charity like Project 65 to stage something as big as this is hugely ambitious but we are very proud of what we have managed to achieve and we are delighted to have such great acts performing for us especially as they are giving their time for free. Helping our wounded heroes is obviously something they all feel very strongly about. We wanted to give everyone a great day out and a great way to give thanks and show our pride for the men and women of our armed forces. We have kept the cost of tickets as low as possible to make sure that the festival is something that can be enjoyed by everyone.
