Three time Grammy award winning pop/hip hop quartet The Black Eyed Peas, are coming to the UK to do eight shows in May. Kicking off on the 5th May the groups’ opening performance will held at London’s O2 Arena. This will be followed by six more cross country shows and a final performance in Birmingham at the LG Arena. Opening for the band will be one of the UK’s most beloved singers – Mrs. Cheryl Cole. As a further added bonus to their fans, the talented foursome will also be performing after each of these shows, at after parties in night spots around the country. Tickets for each of these dates, and their after parties are now available at Europe’s leading ticket exchange viagogo.
Whilst the band’s tally of Grammys currently sits at three, January the 30th will determine if they are able to add to this horde. The band’s 2009 output has seen them nominated for six of music’s most coveted awards in 2010. The reason for this can be mainly attributed to the band’s 5th album “The E.N.D”, which was their first album released for nearly four years. When the first two released singles for an album reach number 1, it tends to reflect the quality of the entire album – 1.5 million US sales and critical praise from some of the industry’s most recognised critics validating this assumption.
