Innovative supply chain solution company TBM Solution has been taking steps recently to take full advantage of Ireland’s location within the EU as Brexit comes closer.
TBM’s customers include leading international Consumer Electronics brands who wish to access and sell their products in the European market and other international markets through working with just one company.
The company Directors view Brexit to be a huge opportunity for TBM as Ireland’s unique characteristics make access to the EU Market straightforward.
With the UK heading towards Brexit in what currently could be early 2020, Ireland will possibly be in the only English speaking country in the EU.
Furthermore, according to The World Bank, Ireland’s ranks highly for the relative ease to start a business here. (ref 1)
The nation’s educated and skilled workforce also makes Ireland an attractive proposition for non-EU companies to establish a base here.
Finally, North American companies are now looking to Europe to establish operations, due to the possible further increases by the US on tariffs on Chinese goods. (ref 2)
In light of this, TBM Solution has taken took 2 strategic steps to position itself strongly for extending its service proposition for the global market.
Firstly, it has moved into a new state of the art 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Keypoint Business Park, in north Dublin.
With little warehouse space in the Greater Dublin area, TBM now have extensive space for high tech equipment and high value ticket items. With a high level of fit-out, it’s showroom showcases its consumer facing brands in a premium setting for retailers, wholesalers and distributors to visit.
Secondly, the business has developed it’s ‘LaunchPad’ programme, a rapid access initiative designed to offer consumer electronics brands a ‘one stop shop’ for market entry.
It already has 3 clients on board in a very short space of time.
The LaunchPad’ programme offers start-ups through to Tier One electronics brands one point of contact to set up a Legal Entity in Ireland, including all the administrative and legal services required. Simplicity and speed is embedded within the programme.
Brands immediately have the secure physical warehousing infrastructure in place in Ireland, with existing systems to efficiently handle fulfilment of orders.
TBM’s dedicated eCommerce Platform and integrated payment gateway can get a brand selling online within 48hrs.
This programme also delivers benefits for employment levels in Ireland as for every company TBM ‘on-board’ the company takes on 2/3 employees in Sales, Finance, Marketing and warehouse / fulfilment.
Alan Eustace, co-founder of TBM Solution stated “Ireland is a great place to do business and we are delighted that leading electronics brands are choosing TBM Solution to be their partner. Our extensive distribution network and our Irish base offer these companies huge advantages to expand their international reach easily. With our new HQ, warehouse and LaunchPad programme we are looking forward to offering companies a proven platform and gateway to grow their sales.
