Cairn Group, one of the UK’s leading hospitality chains, has released a walkthrough video to show customers how they can stay with confidence when its hotels in England reopen next month.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that the hospitality sector in England could reopen its doors from Saturday, 4th July, and Cairn Group has released its processes for cleanliness, social distancing, food and beverages, and staff training.
Amongst the measures introduced are hand sanitiser stations across the chain’s 33 hotels, regular cleaning of high-traffic areas, and a 10-point deep cleaning programme following customer check out.
Donna Buckle, Health and Safety Manager at Cairn Group, said: “Across all hotels we have implemented stringent measures to ensure that our staff and guests remain safe. Our Stay with Confidence, Stay with Cairn video clearly communicates the key changes we have made, reassuring our customers that they can book with confidence and enjoy their stay with us.”
Notices will be located throughout hotels acting as reminders for regular hand sanitisation and good hygiene practices, lift etiquette protocols will be introduced to maintain social distancing whilst moving around the hotel, and a Grab and Go service introduced for food and beverage orders.
Donna continued: “We will continue to follow UK Government guidelines, adapting our working practices as required to ensure safety. All of our staff will receive Covid-19 awareness and wellbeing training, with health and hygiene champions nominated across venues to uphold standards.”
