Bringing art together with design is the mission of photographer Maurizio Marcato, an outstanding expression of which can be found in his latest artistic project “Different suites for different people”, in collaboration with architect Simone Micheli for the Salone del Mobile 2016, as part of the events organised for the Fuorisalone. The exhibition spaces in Via Ventura 14 in Milan will be staging this architectural-photographic exhibition from 12 to 17 April 2016. The project is made up of suites furnished with the hand of Simone Micheli and artistic shots by Maurizio Marcato, dedicated to four international hotel chains, each with a specific target and decorative mood: Ascend Hotel Collection by Choice Hotels, Best Western Plus by BW Hotels & Resorts, ibis Styles by AccorHotels and Room Mate Hotels.
In the suite for Ascend Hotel Collection by Choice Hotels, soft lights and colours conducive to meditation welcome the visitor into an exclusive experience with the accent on luxury and elegance, where the allure of a fashion-inspired, metropolitan setting is evident throughout the tastefully furnished spaces.
Perfection and painstaking attention to detail are the hallmarks of the suite created for Best Western Italia, synonymous with unique style, quality and outstanding customer care. Cutting-edge technology meets contemporary design trends for a room that exudes charm and class.
The vibrant, comfortable suite designed for ibis Styles, meanwhile, offers guests the chance to escape from everyday routine and enjoy an unforgettably relaxing, carefree break in a splendid urban refuge that transmits a positive sensation of optimism.
Exclusive, communicative and engaging: this is the “Simone-Maurizio” suite designed by Simone Micheli for Room Mate Hotels as a warm, inviting ambience in which both Maurizio and Simone might like to relax the senses and the spirit. The setting displayed reflects the magnetic energy that flows from the two as they express their art in this setting, a triumph of beauty and sensuality. The lively colours of the walls, covered with photographs depicting parts of the human body, contribute to the heady atmosphere that welcomes guests, enveloping them in a friendly, stimulating ambience.
“The intention of this artistic-photographic project to accentuate and symbolise everyday experience has yielded a strongly expressive, communicative result that goes beyond compositional design”, declared international photographer Maurizio Marcato.
“An exclusive taste experience” by Tao B Cibartisti will open on Wednesday 13 April at 7.00 p.m. by invitation only, with free entry from 8.00 p.m.
