5 October 2016: Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is conducted by Symbiosis International University to select students for its MBA programs offered by various Symbiosis institutes across India. The registrations for the exam will begin on 22 August 2016 and the exam will be conducted on 18 December 2016.
Overall there are 14 Symbiosis Institutes that will be releasing their cutoffs once the SNAP is out. Based on these cutoffs the students will be shortlisted for the further evaluation process, which is different for each institute and is held by them separately. The selection procedure of each institute usually involves a group exercise, personal interaction and written ability test.
SNAP is a 120 minute test, which tests a students knowledge of Quantitative Aptitude, General English, Data Interpretation, Verbal Reasoning, General Awareness and Logical Reasoning. The total marks of the test is 150. Any wrong answers attracts negative marking of 25%.
The admit cards of the exam will be available for download from 5 December 2016 onwards. Candidates can download the admit card by visiting the official site of SNAP and logging on through their registered id and password. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent to the candidates. Candidates must carry the admit card along with them while appearing for the exam.
