WINS 2020 INDIEREADER DISCOVERY AWARD FOR MYSTERY/SUSPENSE/THRILLER

MAY, 28th, 2020 – On Thursday May 28th, IndieReader, one of the original review services for self, hybrid and independently published authors, announced the winners of their annual IR Discovery Awards (IRDAs) for 2020. SHADOW OF DOUBT by SL BEAUMONT won in the Mystery/Suspense/Thriller category.

IndieReader launched the IRDAs in 2011 to help notable indie authors receive the attention of top publishing professionals, with the goal of reaching more readers. SHADOW OF DOUBT received the following verdict. “An engaging story of how life isn’t always what it seems, SL Beaumont’s SHADOW OF DOUBT wonderfully utilizes relatable characters and their complex relationships to weave readers through an intense mystery.” by IndieReader’s reviewers. In the novel, a post-Brexit referendum terrorist bombing and an unexplained death leads London banker Jessica McDonald to uncover secrets and lies that will upend her lifeand put her in grave danger.

SL Beaumont, a writer from New Zealand says she is delighted to have won the award and hopes that the win will introduce her work to a wider audience.
