This is the 5th year that we having supported Sparks charity sporting events, comments David Alberto, Avantas managing director, and despite the tough global economic climate I believe that the research charity, whose sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine, well deserves all the support that we can provide.
Paul Connew, Sparks Director of Communications, said Many people simply dont realise that the majority of pioneering medical research projects for children in the UK depend on charities like Sparks and not the public purse.
That stark fact makes the role of corporate/charity partnerships like that of Avanta and Sparks absolutely vital to the challenge of making the discoveries that give more children the chance to survive and thrive. Without such partnerships, much of that important lifesaving, life-enhancing research simply wouldnt kick off and that would be tragic. The money raised at the rugby dinner will help Sparks-funded doctors and researchers give more children the chance of a healthy, winning future.
Tickets are available at £50 per person from Sam Gale at Sparks on 020 7340 0699 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
