The Big Yellow Self Storage store in Twickenham was happy to support Sport Relief and lend a hand when Lawrence Dallaglio and his cycling team needed somewhere to home their 200+ bikes, before setting out on their epic cycling challenge.
The awe-inspiring journey saw the former England rugby team captain, along with a dedicated group of celebrity friends and supporters, cycle 2,888km across Europe to raise £1m for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation. The challenge took the cyclists through all of the Six Nations countries and ended with team Dallaglio arriving in Murrayfield in time to watch England and Scotland fight it out for the Calcutta Cup on 13 March.
The team certainly enjoyed a royal welcome when they arrived in Twickenham after a 100km ride from Maidstone. As well as the Big Yellow Self Storage team, none other than HRH Prince Harry, Vice Patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), was there to greet Lawrence upon his arrival at Twickenham Stadium, having cycled more than 1,700km through Europe.
