RnB sensation Rihanna is coming to the UK in May. Off the back of an emotional year which has seen her profile and the eyebrows of her critics rise, Rihanna is hoping to close the year with a bang. The nine date tour consists of an opening show on the 7th of May at Birminghams LG Arena, before touring the country and finishing at the SECC in Glasgow on the 19th. Rihanna tickets for all of these shows are now on sale at Europes largest ticket exchange viagogo.
Having released four albums in four years its hard to look beyond Rihanna as the hardest working woman in music. Typically when an artist generates such a sizeable output in such a short period of time. People assume it is a case of quantity over quality. However 12 million worldwide album sales, half a dozen number ones and an awards collection Ryan Giggs would be impressed by, suggests otherwise.
2009 has been a rollercoaster year for Rihanna. Earlier in the year she was scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards only to miss her performance due to highly publicised domestic problems. Despite such problems she has managed to find time in the recording studio, having released her fourth album, the recently acclaimed Rated R in late October. Rolling Stone beamed: Rihanna has transformed her sound and made one of the best pop records of the year.
