Wiltons Music Hall

Press Release: February 10, 2016

Another project supplied by the UK’s leading supplier of Architectural Tiling packages Spectile Ltd, has been shortlisted for recognition in the RIBA MacEwen Awards. Wilton Music Hall in London, the only remaining mid Victorian music hall has recently undergone a major refurbishment.

The £4m heritage refurbishment was agreed because of fragility in structure and it is one of the last surviving mid-Victorian Music Halls. To save the theatrical building Tim Ronalds Architects were appointed to undertake feasibility studies as well as keeping the vintage qualities in the process.

The new and improved qualities to the music hall include a new studio and workshop spaces as well as offices and catering facilities.

Spectile’s, Technical Director commented “We are proud that we could be a part of the Wilton’s Music Hall refurbishment as it would be a shame to see such a culture valued building perish.”
