World Economic forum is a Swiss non-profit foundation based in Cologny, Geneva, Switzerland. Their main mission is cited as "committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas". The theme for the 2018 summit was to create a Shared Future in a Fractured World.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi delivered a keynote speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos on Tuesday during which he talked about “serious” challenges and “grave concerns” facing the world, including terrorism. In his speech he defended globalization. He projected India as a good market for foreign investments.
