United Kingdom citizens get free Vietnam visa

Vietnam-visa .com officially announces that starting from 1st July, 2015, United Kingdom citizens can enjoy traveling to Vietnam without visa for maximum stay of 15 days.

According to the official issued Resolution No 46/NQ-CP by Vietnamese Government, citizens from 5 countries: United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France and Germany are granted free-visa entry to Vietnam. People hold United Kingdom passport can come to Vietnam for any purpose without visa for 15 days. This policy is valid for one year, from 1st July 2015 until 30th June, 2016. This is government’s policy to push up the number of tourists coming to Vietnam in the next year.

People who plan to leave Vietnam and re-enter again need a multiple entry visa. Make sure to check required conditions before leaving.

However, this policy only applies for people who travel within 15 days. People who would love to stay more than 15 days should apply for visa before arrival because the procedure of visa extension can be more difficult and costly. There are two ways which are through Vietnam Embassy in London or apply for Vietnam Visa on Arrival (VOA) by visiting http://www.vietnam-visa.co.uk.
