TUITION SPECIALIST IDENTIFIES REASONS CHILDREN UNDER-PERFORM IN EXAMS
A leading one-to-one tuition provider has identified five of the main reasons children dont perform to their potential in exams.
Newcastle-under-Lyme-based A-Star Tutoring believes children can overcome difficulties in GCSEs, AS Levels, A Levels and other exams with the right motivation and technique, focussing on five main areas.
They are dealing with a block, like a learning difficulty or lack of self-confidence; concentrating on the relevant areas through effective time management; good preparation; linking revision with fun activities; and spending time with youngsters eager to do well and learn more.
Directors Mohammed Khan and Abdul Rahim have based this on their experience of helping more than 3000 6-18-year-olds since opening their doors in 2003.
Mo Khan said: We have found most children just need a little push to get over the obstacles to their exam success.
It may be something straightforward like helping them manage their time more effectively, or something more serious like overcoming learning difficulties.
Many famous academics, businesspeople, and celebrities have overcome learning difficulties Einstein, for instance, was dyslexic and went on to be the worlds greatest scientist.
It may take a little encouragement but it is possible to overcome these and other blocks.
