Tropical Medicine School gets gas remedy

Press Release: December 15, 2009

Gas safety specialists S&S Northern has secured a contract to supply kitchen gas safety systems to the School of Tropical Medicine based in Liverpool.

The School, the worlds first institution devoted primarily to tropical health, contracted S&S Northern through ML Shaw to supply and install the Merlin 1250 - a kitchen interlock panel that protects kitchen staff from the effects of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Steve McMahon, Director of S&S Northern commented, Its such an interesting place to visit as its the school where the first drug treatment for Malaria was discovered so there is a lot of history behind it. We were only too happy to help take care of a different kind of treatment!

S&S Northern supplies and installs gas safety systems for a range of industries and has recently completed installations at Hells Kitchen, and the Houses of Parliament.
