Press Release: October 31, 2017
The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square has recently completed a full renovation of the Westminster Ballroom, re-designing the space with weddings in mind now introducing natural daylight into the 765m2 pillar-free luxury wedding venue.
An elegantly designed colour palette from wall to wall is perfectly complimented by a sophisticated finish with geometrical shapes and crisp lines. The décor is a refined presentation of classic luxury, whilst still maintaining a contemporary edge. From the fully customizable lighting system, to the integration of exciting new technological solutions, the Westminster Ballroom seamlessly bridges the gap between timeless luxury and modern amenities.
The ballroom designers took inspiration from the heritage of the prestigious Mayfair area, where “Elegant architecture is infused with a chic, contemporary style, bringing back the atmosphere that made Grosvenor Square one of London’s most fashionable residential addresses in the 1800s”.
At The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, the commitment to luxury not only extends to the design of the ballroom, with all aspects of an event carefully considered. Food is a crucial part of any wedding reception, which is why the Westminster Ballroom boasts a dedicated kitchen and a team of passionate chefs on hand to work with the couple every step of the way, from planning and menu tasting to delivering a delectable menu crafted to the couples taste. The selection of culinary offerings continues throughout the hotel, with two restaurants by Gordon Ramsay, plus, Mayfair’s Best Kept Secret, the striking and award-winning 1920’s style speakeasy, the Luggage Room bar.
Situated on the iconic Grosvenor Square Park and a short walk from Hyde Park and the world-famous shopping destinations of the city, The London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square is the perfect location for the special day conveniently located in the heart of Mayfair, easily accessible from both the London Underground and international airports.
As the venue for unique and exclusive weddings for over 30 years, it offers a heritage of service now with a contemporary edge. Home to one of London’s largest pillar-free ballrooms, the venue is complimented by natural daylight and a dedicated kitchen for wedding events of up to 550 people.
