London to Liverpool ONE cycle challenge:
233 Miles, during two and a half days, 27th May to 29th May 2010

On Thursday May 27th 2010, fifty intrepid cyclists will be setting out from Grosvenor's head business office in central London that will pedal to Liverpool ONE in Liverpool Town Centre in 2 and half days in an effort to raise funding for the Liverpool ONE Foundation.

The Liverpool ONE Foundation was first established through Grosvenor and their investor partners, with the express intention of supporting these lives of local citizens within Merseyside , in particular Liverpool, by simply providing assistance for excellent causes in and around the city. Projects that grants are made ought to match more than one of the following themes: the prevention or relief regarding poverty; education and learning and expertise (specifically for the younger generation); social plus community advancement; as well as wellness.

Throughout Feb this year, the Liverpool ONE Foundation accredited nearly 60 applications awarding nearly £300,thousand in grants to nearby causes - averaging just under £5,000 per grant. Despite the fact that this is some thing to certainly celebrate, the fact over £1m of grant applications have been made, emphasis the continuous requirement for funds in this community.
