Teenage author helps students achieve top GCSE results

Press Release: February 01, 2010

At 16 years of age, teenage author Robert Blakey has written and published his debut book, aimed at helping GCSE students achieve their academic potential.

Within 6 months, dream has turned into reality as his ambition to write a book has come true. As a student of Solihull School, Robert saw this as an exciting project to spend his time on during his long summer holiday in-between finishing his GCSE exams and starting his A-level courses.

Robert came up with the idea to write a unique book about GCSE exam preparation after finding little information already available for students on this topic. Written from the perspective of a teenager who has achieved 10 A* grades (4 with a score of 100%) in his GCSEs, the book shares practical tips on exam and revision technique, including specific subject advice.

The book, which is called How to achieve 100% in a GCSE, is now available for sale via online bookstores such as Amazon (www.Amazon.co.uk).

Commenting on the book, Lorna Read, Editor at Writing Ltd., said What a fantastic book. A truly great idea. I wish the book had been around years ago when I was doing my O and A levels. Rob makes some excellent points and the book is full of good sense.
