Press Release: April 12, 2010
Leading taxi advertising specialists, Taxi Media presented seven London cab drivers with cash prizes totalling £2000!
Mr Barry Spackman won top prize, bagging £1000 cash! Chief Executive of Taxi Media, Asher Moses, presented the prize to Mr Spackman at the companys Operations centre in E2.
Winning driver, Barry Spackman commented, My biggest ever tip AND taxi fares go up in the budget. What a day! Ive worked with Taxi Media for years and this incentive is typical of the way they look after their drivers. Theyre a company that really look after us, probably because the Chief Exec, Asher, used to be a driver himself!
Commenting about the incentive, Chief Executive of Taxi Media, Asher Moses, said, For the first two weeks of March, a fleet of 650 taxis hit the streets of London, promoting the worlds leading flower delivery experts, Interflora and Mothers Day.
Once Mothers Day was over, fleets and drivers cooperated by accommodating fit and refit slots to a very tight schedule to help ensure a seamless transition from the Because Mum deserves the best creative to the new graphics that replace them. We wanted to offer the participating drivers a reward for their time and commitment to the campaign and so gave them the opportunity to enter into a cash prize draw.
In total, seven taxi drivers, who all participated in the Interflora campaign, won prizes. Runner up to Barry Spackman was Noel Nckoy who secured £500 cash whilst Gerald Harris, Frank Raggett, Barry Fox , Mark Hester and Mark Acres all won £100 each.
