Press Release: March 29, 2010
Waste and facilities management company, Suffolk Coastal Services, has launched a new website to enable it to easily promote its offering to three distinct markets the public, local businesses and local authorities. To help position it as a reputable company and provide a professional online presence, Suffolk Coastal Services engaged with multimedia and web design agency Digital Marmalade.
Digital Marmalade worked with Suffolk Coastal Services to understand each audience and delivered three separate sites, all accessed from one landing page. The sites share common elements to ensure brand consistency, but use different colours, images, layouts and language to appeal to each websites visitors.
With its roots set in the public sector arena, the site is designed to help the company pitch itself against other commercial operations, as it looks to expand its foothold in the business sector. The platform needed to reach out to commercial businesses, as well as the public and Local Authority customers. Digital Marmalade demonstrated experience in providing websites tailored to specific needs and had the customer focussed approach required for this project, comments, Tina Morley, customer and support services manager at Suffolk Coastal Services.
Using Digital Marmalades content management tool, Marmalade Suite, Suffolk Coastal Services has complete control over the three sites, and can easily upload and manage content. An auto-create function means that when a new service is added to the services list, a template page is automatically created, ready to be populated with content. This will ensure the site can grow with the business without additional investment.
The site also allows Suffolk Coastal Services to showcase its use of leading edge technology and green credentials. The team exceeded our expectations and delivered a website which captured all of our requirements, continues Morley.
Suffolk Coastal Services had a clear idea of what they wanted the website to achieve and we were able to turn their ideas into a reality and provide a user friendly and visually appealing interface, adds Tony Brennand, director at Digital Marmalade.
