Steampunk Fantasy for Film Film Festivals

Press Release: August 01, 2020

A Clockwork Heart is the breakthrough debut film by UK Scottish director, David Lawson.
Originally conceived to teach Lawson the different disciplines within filmmaking, from set building to editing, this project has grown into more than he or the team could have  imagined.
This close-knit unit of filmmakers are now gearing up to enter film festivals worldwide.
To do so, they must raise £600 in 30 days to enter the right festivals for their film and reach a global community within their genre.
Their IndieGoGo campaign has been launched and is off to a flying start already with being over 25% funded in the first 24 hours: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/a-clockwork-heart
Shot just shy of the Covid-19 outbreak, in a lush and vibrant forest in the north east of Scotland - the magical setting is just perfect for their modern day fairytale with a dash of steampunk and sci-fi, for added colour.
The film stars local Aberdeen talent that have had national and international success, such as Aiysha Jebali (Dogged) and Vincent T Spangenberg (Coming Home) and is narrated by Catherine O'Donnell (Mrs. Brown).
Short Synopsis
A Clockwork Heart is fairy tale inspired, stylized short film that explores the complexities of human emotion through the evolving friendship of a boy and a girl.
Will you back them?
