Press Release: April 16, 2010
This year St. Georges day falls on Friday 23rd April, and what better way to show your colours than to snap up some top designer menswear and wear white and red for the day, the colours of the St. Georges cross. Throughout time the 23rd April has been accepted as the date of death for St. George and for every year after his death there was a huge celebratory feast, on a similar par to Christmas Dinner up until the 18th century. As time has passed the tradition has waned and even the method of celebration changed considerably, as St. Georges day has become more modernised. After the tradition of the feast had died out, it was considered symbolic to wear a single red rose in your lapel for the day, but as the times and fashion have changed further it is now accepted that white and red clothing, or a St. Georges cross are to be used to show your patriotism.
With fashion comes designer brands, and at Mainline Menswear there are plenty of those. With over 100 top designer brands available and over 6500 products at the moment finding something white and red will be very easy, as shown on the two links below.
