Press Release: June 20, 2015
After years of falling prices and difficulties getting mortgages the Spanish property market is moving back to the level of demand to the early 2000's.
Spanish property vertical search website casas.helpante.com has seen a spike in searches on its website, indicating more and more people all looking to buy a home in Spain.
The majority of searches are coming from the UK, highlighting that the strength of the UK Pound against the Euro is a significant factor in prompting people to search for a property now while prices are low and the Pound is strong.
Prices for Spanish property are still low, down to the levels of when casas.helpante.com owner and developer Mike Price first started selling property in Spain in 2001, and with the strong UK currency representing a 30% saving on buying just 12 months ago, now has never been a better time to buy that property in Spain you have always been looking for.
"We have been saying for some time that there has never been a better time to buy a property in Spain" said Mr Price, who has also been running the Spanish property website www.mmespain.com since 2001, "but it genuinely is. Prices are as low as when I bought my first house in 2001. I see some properties in the area of Murcia that we focus on now selling at 75% of the price we were promoting back in 2005/6. Less than £30,000 for a 2 bed apartment on a golf complex is amazing value."
Mr Price developed casas.helpante.com to bring together all the different competing sites and portals to make it easier for people searching for Spanish property on line to find them all in one place, rather than spend hours after hour trawling through numerous websites and property portals trying to find the information that your require for your Spanish property search.
1000's of properties are already listed on the website, with more added every day from 5 or 6 of the top 10 Spanish property websites and portals, bringing together a one-stop shop for your property search.
"The idea came about via my own frustration of trying to source property in other areas of Spain for a valued client" said Mr Price. I am pretty computer and web savvy having worked in software and web industry for over 20 years, but I was totally frustrated and tired at the end of a day going from search engine to search engine and website to website looking for properties, so I decided to try and aggregate them all together and that is where www.helpante.com came from with the Spanish property sub section the first to be launched. "We hope to add France, Portugal and some other countries soon" said Mr Price.
