Press Release: March 26, 2010
Tony Woodley, joint leader of workers union Unite, said: I dont think there is any doubt that it will go ahead. I dont see any willingness on the part of the company to find a settlement.
The first cabin crew strikes over the weekend had forced British Airways to cancel over 200 flights across the country.
It is thought that long-haul flights will be least affected by the latest walk-out, which will be good news for British cruise passengers, who will mostly be flying out to more exotic cruise locations at this time of year.
However, many of the big cruise companies (including Cunard Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Princess Cruises) are already sourcing out alternative flights for their passengers who may be affected by the BA strike.
All passengers who are expecting to fly with British Airways between 27th and 31st March are advised to keep checking the BA website for the latest developments.
