Home Robo-Cams.

Press Release: January 13, 2010

This week sees the launch of Robocam Doorsec Security Solutions the firms behind the technology are the first in the North West to use this technology and have invested in headsets to roll out across several of their Liverpool city centre premises. One of them to use the system from November onwards is Modo on Concert Square. With video recording image as well as audio the Robocam can be used to assist in the overall security of staff, security staff and customers in alcohol licensed premises.

Elaine Clarke Chief Executive of Baa Bar Group said, We are happy to be working in conjunction with Doorsec Security Solutions, Pubwatch and Merseyside Police to bring the state of the art Robocam system into operation. It is our combined objective to help make Concert Square a safer place for our customers, staff and door staff. We want to continue to ensure that we have the latest technology to monitor incidents and guarantee the fair treatment of all parties involved.

Joe Curran the safer alcohol retail officer for City Safe said "I am very supportive of this type of technology that will enhance the safety of employees and the public" As I understand this will work not only as a deterrent but as detection for those individuals who visit our licensed premises and commit offences. It also gives reassurance to those door supervisors who are wearing them that all actions are being filmed and the audio is also being recorded. This advancement is ensuring that licensed premises are stepping up their due diligence and are taking the issue of safety as a serious matter; I comment Doorsec for working with City Safe and their respective employers.
